Kristen Salaman, CPA is a seasoned auditor with nearly seven years of experience at Blankenship CPA Group. A native of Franklin, Tennessee, Kristen comes from a family deeply rooted in the accounting profession, with her parents and sister also being CPAs. She holds a Bachelor's degree from Samford University and began her career in Birmingham, Alabama, in 2015. Kristen specializes in audits of not-for-profit organizations and employee benefit plans. She is also an active member of the firm's Quality Control team, helping ensure compliance with professional standards and applicable laws and regulations. Driven by her passion for developing future accounting professionals, Kristen actively mentors interns and staff. Each semester you can find Kristen on college campuses across middle Tennessee meeting and recruiting aspiring accountants. Beyond her professional endeavors, Kristen is an involved community member. She is a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants and a graduate of the Young Leaders Council Nashville. She also serves on the boards of several local nonprofit organizations. In her free time, Kristen enjoys reading, crocheting, hiking, and exploring the world of plants. She is happily married to Stephen, an engineer and adores spending time with her six nieces and her sweet blind dog, Woody. Certifications
